You can't be whacking off your muffler anymore in new york, and they say this accomplishes two purposes. First, the prohibitions against illegal mufflers and exhaust systems. Modifications are made more comprehensive, aka, you can't do nothing and, secondly, the penalties for violations are increased.

Aka. Stick it to the man which is us, the the shops that are whacking off your mufflers. We don't whack off mufflers here, but there's a lot of muffler shops that make a living doing this um. Let's see.

Essentially it is a violation to sell offer for sale. Install or modify a motor vehicle, muffler or exhaust system, including any component or device thereof if it causes the exhaust noise to be louder than the original equipment, muffler and exhaust system. The violation of the vehicle traffic law, 375, 31a and 31b may result in a fine of up to one thousand dollars or 30 days in prison uh what else? A revoke a revolution or suspension of the motor vehicle repair shop, registration, a license and a civil penalty to not exceed 750 for your first violation, wow and uh. So my first question is: what about these harley guys they're, like wow, ripping by your shop? Well, they solved that little problem, too no person shall, in the state, sell offer for sale or install a motorcycle exhaust device that is intentionally designed to allow for the internal baffling to be fully or partially removed or interchangeable, or that has been modified in a matter That will amplify or increase the noise emitted from the motor of the motorcycle above that emitted by the exhaust system originally installed on such motorcycle new york.

You ruined everything you took all the fun of out of it. So, anyhow, folks don't get caught whacking off your mufflers in new york, because you're going to go to jail, so uh good luck out there.
