A lot is happening here at SMA and it is making it difficult to crank out the content for our viewers. Please be patient and things will be back to normal before you know it! ๐

Hey there viewers and welcome back to the self made auto channel a lot happening here at sma, and i just want to kind of touch base with you guys and let you know that we're right kind of in the middle of a bigger building, project or kind Of a facelift for our building, as you can see, kind of changing the color we're two-tone in that um got stuff playing around here. The back is almost done. Uh the front we're working on. It's super, noisy uh, the guys that got uh helping us do it.
You know we're jackhammering moving some concrete, mrs getting a new window in the office uh we're treating her real good there uh and a couple other things out front. So uh the project's been going on for several weeks. I've got no more videos for you. My q is empty, uh, very difficult to record and you know help with the project here and all that stuff.
So just ask for you guys patience. I appreciate it. I appreciate all of our viewers and everybody kind of sticking by us through this, but didn't want everybody getting worried or scared because they haven't seen videos uh, so no fear standby things will be back to normal i'll share with you guys everything that's been going on. It's just been a little bit hectic and that's, it anyhow stay tuned.
I guess alright, guys thanks.
I watch this guy a lot. He is not a parts changer. He diagnosis the problems , then he replaces what is bad.
I've been a mechanic for 35 year's. And I have seen people replace evorything on the car to solve a problem. I've never done that and I never will.
What should I do when the dealership says โwe replaced the bad fuel tank pressure sensor. We canโt figure out why the check engine light keeps coming back onโ ๐
Regarding your earlier video of wiper motor replacement on a Ford Crown Vic, without using a testing light,, how do we know if the problem is a bad wiper motor or the stalk on the steering wheel? Also, there is at least one other video on YouTube doing the exact same thing you're doing, but when he pulls off the wiper arms, there's no "keyway" in the arm (there didn't seem to be any in mine, either). Is this common for a 2008 Grand Marquis? Or is the keyway unique for your year of car?
Long time fan and look forward to every new video you put out. Too bad your shop is 892 miles from my house or I would have a new mechanic for life.
Bigger window for Mrs. O! Well here is your chance to put in that drive up Ice Cream window with the Taylor Ice Cream machine. I remember way back when you talked about that. Ice Cream is good for you it calms the nerves and makes you smile. Still standing by.
Eric O is a swell guy! My kids will do his intro(with the arm swoop) when I turn a video on! I literally only watch his videos coupled with tool box tours!! PG but definitely OG! ๐ค
Great to here of your new developments you sure have worked for it! Looking forwards to seeing the rest, and of course all your future interesting videos. ……..Ray H. From the u.k.
You should productively take this opportunity to arrange another Pay It Forward event for the most deserving charity of your choice. Does not necessarily need to be a vehicle. You could provide a free one year routine servicing of the vehicles used by the local Meals on Wheels organization or such. Just a suggestion. I know you already donate the proceeds of your scrap metal recycling to the local no kill animal shelter, so It is not as if you were not already engaged with the community in charity efforts. Thanks for all yhou do.
How do I replace the alternator on a 2006 Camry 2.4L? The last guy broke the boss you are supposed to use to get slack on the serpentine belt. Mom's mechanic showed me some tool he used to replace the belt, but every serpentine belt tool I find is a skinny breaker bar.
How do I loosen the belt with a broken boss?
