In this video I bring you along as I look at a fellas 2012 Chevy 1500 that has an issue with the driver side window switch. All of the buttons on it work except for the one that controls the passenger side window. It works fine from the passenger side though. Should be an easy one! ๐ -Enjoy!

So for a 02 for the power mirrors would it be the same test?
Eric's so good, he diagnoses wiring in the DARK! But seriously, Eric, some technical difficulties at about the 11 minute mark.
That was a very educational video. I've had to change that part on my 2003 Silverado and it worked great for a while and then the mirror stopped. I'll just wait until the window regulator goes out for the 3rd or 4th time to fool with it.
My old 2nd Gen Plymouth mini van would get water in the door & mirror switch. Part of the "PM" was to remove them, take them apart & clean/de-ox them. Of course, I could remember to just close the window…
Ivan would have been proud!
Eric, none of your videos is stupid or pointless. Every one adds a value. You have viewers with various levels of expertise and what seems basic for you is another learning step for somebody else so keep them coming – (says the guy with F-150 with no compression on #7 on vacation in your neck of the woods last summer:)
Camera by Dodge? I really wanted to see the Subaru diagram
Even though it was a simple fix and you already knew the issue, you went through the diag to show those who don't know the how to do it easy. You would make a very good teacher Eric. Hope your not getting any more fix my car phone calls. And it still looks like you are still recovering so take care from Australia.
I am in the IT field(Network OPs) and i learn from you fixing cars, lol. The thought processes you take on all your diags/fixes helps me rethink my processes. Thanks again for all the videos!
Eric's so good he can even work in complete darkness ๐
I starting to think that I need to get rid of my GM products! Thanks for the upload
My truck did the same thing I tore the switch apart clean the contacts when the pencil eraser put it back together it worked fine
Not a stupid video if someone learns the basic diagnostic trouble shooting procedures.๐
Love that Russian some of the things he takes apart surprises me!!
I will never have a problem with my windows rolling up or down unless my elbow breaks.
C'mon folks. Who gives a shite about who gets the first "like". Get a life people. Enjoy Eric's great work and move along.
