Astro Tools 52SLC 500x2 Lumen Folding Double-Sided LED Slim Light W/Wireless Charging Pad: https://amzn.to/3fNFHUK
Today's 60 second tour review is on the humble shop light more specifically the astro 52 sl cordless charging. Now this, my friends is my favorite light from astro. I've had many a lights from astro wireless charging. Pack magnetic you just throw it up there.
It clicks on. They usually don't look like this. These are my shiny ones. They actually come blue from the factory uh.
It has a feature you can turn it on led on the tip lighter up on one side lighter up on both sides back to one side and watch this. You can dim it, oh so romantic and then make it nice and bright, and then wireless charging did. I mention that, oh but eric. Oh, i'm, not a fan of wireless charging.
Well, never fear in the side. It does have a slot for your usbc. I believe it is not real sure, because i've never ever used it uh there. It is folks great great light.
Just bought a set on Eric's recommendation. Eric and Astro should have some sort of deal so when someone buys because of Eric's vid he gets a wee piece of the action. I have so many good tools I never would have bough because of a reputable source.
That's awesome
Although, it's not wireless, but my favorite light is an Aldi find, rectangular battery work light. It's brighter than a high beam, 8kmah battery, magnets in the rotating handle, swivel hook, and it has a USB outlet for charging other devices.
All for $14 at my aldi.
Had 2 for 2 years and used then regularly without problems. Have 2 in my grab bag for hiking and fleeing.
I actually bought a pair with the charging pad a few months back because I was so impressed by them on your previous videos. Not the first thing I've stolen from your channel and probably won't be the last. Cheers Eric.
In a previous workshop video Eric mentioned the Astro suction cup/magnetic base for work lights. Ordered on that day and that little sucker is, to quote Eric, the bee's knees.
Going to see if I can get these in the uk. Ideally I'd like a magnetic light that beeps when it's way out of range of the charger for those times you leave it stuck on the bottom of a vehicle.
I've seen many kool looking lights, but what about the magnet in the base of it. Has it strong at least 20 lbs strenghth/ will it stick to crusty, oily surfaces under the hood and body?
How many thousand times have you dropped it? Thats important to me. I have a 4 lb snappy one that fell and hit me in the face while i was working under a truck on the floor. Thought i broke my cheekbone. Although its bright, its heavy.
Seems any time a light hits the floor, a piece flys off.
I'm not sure if you know this but you could of being a killer sales guy… ๐
Thanks to you and this channel, I've purchased several items from astro. From lights to pneumatic guns, to hand tools……..
Astro should put you in their payroll at this point. ๐๐๐
Loving this 1min tool reviews. Just don't get too confortable, we still need your main repair vids!!!
