Today's 60 second tour review is on the astro 1838 and the 1832 impact wrench a long handle a little odd. I thought they were gimmicky when i first got them seven inches of handle both of these babies overall length. Yay long about 10 inches stem to stern she's, a half inch drive she's, a 3 8 drive 415 foot pounds. The old half inch gun's got enough.
Snap pull wheel, nuts extremely handy when servicing suspension parts like spring shackles. They also both offer a fully adjustable exhaust, so you can have it below debris directly into your eyes, or you can rotate them and have it just make a cloud covering both of your eyes and the flipper on the back right here makes it great for battle Mode forward backward forward backward.
Own the 1832 and love it for suspension and brake work. the 1822 is my main impact unless its to tight, then my Matco 2769 comes out. been loving the Astro impacts and tire inflator with digital gauge. hope to add the Thor and big nasty to my arsenal at some point
I have these, great for caliper bracket bolts. The stupid triggers come off, and I've had to order on like 3 times. Still love them.
Growing up with my dad who’s a mechanic (airline & cars), I’ve always loved the sound of an impact wrench. I know I’m weird, but that was the sound of my childhood. ☺️
NICE ERIC… I picked up the 1834 about a month ago and love it. I just might have to snag one of these. Have you seen any advantages in having the 3/8 guy over the 1/2.?
My thought is shorter/smaller socket that way. Speaking of, I did however also purchased their stubby 1/2 impact sockets too. (78215) Figure if I'm shooting for low profile, why let a longer socket stick out. Liking them so far too. 😎👍
Thanks for the crafty review. Always loved your humor. 🤣
Cheers
I hope Astro is a sponsor because you probably help them sell a lot of tools. I don't mind your tool reviews because I know you use them in your shop and would not recommend anything that you would not buy yourself. I have bought several tools from your Amazon store and am happy for you to make some extra money on the side. Keep the very entertaining tool reviews coming.
I've long been subscribed with 'All' notifications selected to this channel so why the hell are these shorts not showing up in my notifications? Neither this one or the Astro wireless charging light vids have appeared.
MORE ,MORE,MORE…. PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I purchased some Astro tools stuff because of your videos, they are top notch. Have you used their Vacuum refill kit, I'm thinking of buying it.
LMAO — Keep it real Mr. O I can't count how many times the discharge has gotten me over the years, and I don't use an air ratchet nearly as much as you. LOL You adjust it so it doesn't hit you directly in the face do what you have to do, set it down move on the the next one it don't fit in there- you get extension what ever it takes, happy that you can use the gun, and then you pull the Trigger, it's either directly at you or the biggest dirt pile near it. Need I say more LOL
I absolutely love these for brake jobs. Some rear brakes it doesn't have enough room, but never run into a set of front rotors the 1/2 doesn't make short work of.
Great job, the only tool reviews besides ave that I will trust. Some one who actually uses the tools everyday.
Be nice if they made it electric
Specially when you lazy Don’t wanna drag a air hose around
